SMS Notification Disclaimer

i) Carriers have filtering systems for SMS messages which may interfere with message delivery. Such filtering is based on local regulations.
ii) There is no standard practice for carrier filtering across all carriers. Filtering can range from a simple static list of prohibited terms, to advanced adaptation of machine learning technology. Due to the ambiguous nature of these filtering mechanisms, intermediary gateway platforms are unable to communicate definitively why a message is filtered.
iii) Qtrac will work diligently to mitigate filtering issues (troubleshooting, carrier petitioning, modifying SMS language, etc.), however Client agrees and accepts that Qtrac will not be held responsible for filtered messages or the consequences arising from any such filtering.
iv)
Fair Use & Overage. All-Inclusive Messaging includes up to 25,000 message segments per Instance per month. Segments sent beyond the included allowance are billed at $0.0125 per segment, calculated monthly in arrears. Excessive or automated bulk messaging may be throttled or reviewed.
v)
Carrier Filtering. Mobile carriers operate filtering systems for SMS messages that may interfere with or prevent message delivery. Such filtering is applied at the carriers' discretion and in accordance with applicable local regulations.
vi)
No Uniform Standard. There is no standardized filtering practice across carriers. Filtering mechanisms range from simple static lists of prohibited terms to advanced machine-learning models, and may change without notice. Due to the ambiguous and proprietary nature of these mechanisms, neither Qtrac nor its intermediary gateway providers are able to determine or communicate definitively why a particular message is filtered.
vii)
Limitation of Responsibility. Qtrac will work diligently to mitigate filtering issues — including troubleshooting, petitioning carriers, and modifying SMS language or configuration as appropriate. However, Client acknowledges and agrees that Qtrac shall not be held responsible for filtered or undelivered messages, or for any consequences arising from such filtering.
